Root Menu

The root menu is opened by right-clicking on the desktop.

Run...

Opens the run dialogue.

Preferences...

Opens a dialogue for launching applications for editing various preferences.

Technical Note: The script for the dialog is located in ~/GNUstep/Library/Scripts/preferences.sh.

Exit...

This option exits Window Maker. To power down the computer select Exit in the root menu to close down Window Maker, then power off the computer using the switch in top-right corner.
